Senior Client Audit Engineer - Pharmacy

Brown & Brown and Remedy Analytics provide pharmacy claims auditing and analytics services focused on PBM contract compliance.

What you will do

• Plan and execute pharmacy claims audits in line with internal audit standards.
• Facilitate PBM calls, obtain audit data, load claims data, perform quality checks, reconcile results, and analyze Oracle reports.
• Review PBM contracts, track audit observations, evaluate remediation efforts, and draft audit reports.
• Maintain and develop audit automation transforms, including tools for new PBMs.
• Perform ad hoc analytics and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to prototype solutions and validate data pipelines using Python and SQL.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar analytical discipline.
• Highly proficient in database table creation and management, ETL processes, complex Oracle and SQL queries, and code maintenance.
• Understanding of dimensional models and experience developing and executing business logic.
• 3–5 years of experience working with pharmacy claims data and pharmacy claims audit experience or knowledge are required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, project ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple audits and changing priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Project management experience.
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with Power BI or SSRS.
• Proficiency in Python, including pandas and NumPy.
• Familiarity with low-code or no-code solutions.
