Senior Insurance Data Lead

Location: Remote while based in the United States, preferably at a listed hirify.global hub office; the role is associated with San Francisco, California.

Salary: $118,300–$174,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential equity grants.

hirify.global operates a delivery and marketplace platform, with the Risk & Insurance team managing corporate insurance, risk, and safety.

What you will do

• Lead the development and maintenance of insurance metrics that inform business and insurance strategy.
• Build and maintain insurance data infrastructure, including data pipelines and data models.
• Design insurance and claims analytics to optimize insurance operations.
• Define and report monthly performance metrics with senior team members.
• Recommend risk mitigation strategies and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver work on schedule.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, insurance analytics, financial analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Strong SQL skills and Python experience for data extraction, transformation, validation, and automation.
• Experience building reports, dashboards, reconciliations, and working with large, multi-source datasets.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data models, data-quality checks, documentation, and translating business requirements into data logic.
• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance is preferred.

Nice to have

• Actuarial, insurance operations, carrier reporting, claims, billing, or exposure-data experience.
• Experience in a gig, delivery, mobility, marketplace, or sharing-economy business.
• Familiarity with Cursor.
