Location: Ogden, Utah, United States. This is a field-based role requiring regular operating-room presence and travel of up to 25%.

What you will do

  • Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgical procedures and monitor patients’ nervous systems.
  • Review medical histories and consult with surgeons about structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
  • Communicate monitoring information to surgeons and surgical staff throughout each case.
  • Display, label, measure, and calculate waveform data, including latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times.
  • Select appropriate protocols, troubleshoot monitoring issues, and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Maintain equipment, complete IOM logs and documentation, and upload files on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; no previous professional experience is required.
  • Must be eligible for CNIM certification through an ABRET-recognized pathway and obtain and maintain CNIM status.
  • Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, human anatomy and physiology, or technical troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, time-management, and collaboration skills; English communication with surgeons and surgical staff is required.
  • Must be able to travel regularly, work in operating-room environments, transport and set up equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and maintain required hospital privileges and vaccinations.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for medical equipment are required.
