Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist - Neurological Testing Center, Full-time, Nights

Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL; Feinberg/Galter, FL 07. Onsite night schedule: 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Salary: USD 28.02–43.43 per hour, plus shift differential and overtime eligibility.

What you will do

• Perform neurological testing and monitoring using EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and additional neurodiagnostic modalities as applicable.
• Prepare patients, place recording electrodes accurately, follow established testing protocols, and explain procedures.
• Recognize inadequate signals and abnormalities, troubleshoot equipment, and communicate findings to coordinators or neurologists.
• Complete patient histories, study documentation, billing information, clinical observations, and reporting tasks.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, support quality improvement, and collaborate with Neurological Testing Center staff.
• Train new Neurodiagnostic Technicians and student preceptors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Registry in the relevant discipline: R.EEG.T through ABRET for EEG, or R.NCS.T through AAET or CNCT through ABEM for EMG.
• Board-eligible candidates may be considered if registration is completed within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to work onsite night shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays, including patient care for adult, geriatric, and, for EEG technicians, neonatal patients.

Nice to have

• Registration in additional disciplines such as EEG, EP, CLTM, or CNIM.
• Prior experience across multiple ENDT modalities.
