Registered Neurophysiology Technologist-Neurodiagnostics Full Time Days (Neurodiagnostics)

Location: Lake Forest Hospital, 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States. Full-time onsite position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with variable night and weekend call coverage.

Salary: USD 25.49–39.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform neurological testing and monitoring using electroencephalography, evoked potentials, electromyography, and nerve conduction studies.
• Prepare patients, collect relevant histories, place recording electrodes, and follow established testing protocols.
• Recognize inadequate signals and troubleshoot testing issues with appropriate support.
• Identify abnormalities or potential changes and communicate appropriately with neurologists.
• Document clinical observations, complete billing and study paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
• Support patient comfort, departmental operations, quality improvement, equipment maintenance, and collaboration across Neuro Testing Center areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an Electroneurodiagnostics Technologist training program or a Bachelor of Science degree; alternatively, at least five years of EEG Technologist experience.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification.
• Ability to work onsite at Lake Forest Hospital on the stated weekday schedule and provide variable night and weekend call coverage.
• Ability to work with adult and geriatric patients, with pediatric patient interaction required for technicians performing EEGs.
