Pricing Strategy Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; Conditions: El Segundo, California; contract engagement

Salary: $70–$80 per hour on W-2

What you will do

• Develop business cases for new products, pricing initiatives, promotional offers, and customer acquisition strategies.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses to forecast business impact and estimate ROI.
• Analyze pricing performance, promotional effectiveness, competitive positioning, customer behavior, elasticity, and acquisition trends.
• Use SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to analyze data and create dashboards, reports, and recurring performance views.
• Support pricing tests and experiments through test design, measurement frameworks, post-launch analysis, and recommendations.
• Present concise, executive-level findings and partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Analytics teams.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in pricing, strategy, business analysis, consulting, financial analysis, product strategy, or analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
• Experience developing business cases, financial models, executive presentations, and commercial or pricing strategy initiatives.
• Advanced Excel skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be eligible to work remotely within the United States under a W-2 arrangement.

Nice to have

• MBA.
• Experience with pricing experimentation, elasticity analysis, customer segmentation, promotional analysis, or revenue optimization.
• Experience in subscription, media, telecom, technology, consumer services, or recurring-revenue businesses.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently in a collaborative environment.
