Senior Analyst, Corporate Development & Investor Relations (MedTech)

Location: San Diego, CA; on-site/in-person five days per week

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Evaluate partnerships, licensing opportunities, and M&A transactions through market research, financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
• Identify commercial and clinical growth opportunities and build supporting business cases.
• Prepare earnings materials, investor presentations, quarterly reports, and other capital-markets communications.
• Monitor analyst models, consensus estimates, peer performance, investor databases, and website content.
• Support clinical strategy initiatives, research partnerships, vendor relationships, and clinical trial execution.
• Plan clinical trial budgets and resources and participate in investor, analyst, and industry conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in equity research, corporate development, M&A advisory, public equities investing, investment banking, or a related analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial, commercial, and clinical concepts clearly.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressure.
• Ability to work on-site at the San Diego office five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in diabetes technology, medical devices, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Exposure to M&A due diligence or licensing transactions.
• Familiarity with clinical trial processes, terminology, and regulatory milestones.
• CFA progress or an MBA.
