Manufacturing and Assembly Specialist (Robotics)

Location: San Francisco, California; on-site five days a week from 10am to 6pm

Salary: $55K–$65K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Support the physical side of manufacturing by moving materials accurately and on time.
• Perform hands-on mechanical builds, assembly, repair, and microelectronics service work.
• Organize raw materials and finished goods throughout the shop.
• Maintain shop equipment, tools, and workspaces in safe, functional condition.
• Handle shipping and receiving, including domestic parcel shipments.
• Coordinate across engineering, operations, and other departments while prioritizing urgent and longer-term work.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Safe, hands-on experience with drills, files, vises, torque-control tools, wrenches, and sockets.
• Experience with microelectronics service tools, including digital multimeters, soldering irons, contact crimpers, and bench supplies.
• Basic computer, command-line, web application, productivity tool, and networking skills.
• Experience with shipping and receiving and familiarity with domestic parcel carriers.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, climb ladders up to 12 feet, stand for extended periods, and work on-site five days per week. A California driving license is required.
