What you will do

• Build physical hardware-in-the-loop test systems and benches for software verification from the ground up.
• Develop Python-based test infrastructure and libraries for automated testing on hardware devices.
• Design test strategies and test cases from product requirements to generate actionable quality signals.
• Automate end-to-end testing for Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, Bluetooth, GPS/GNSS, audio, cameras, and video input and output.
• Interpret results, root-cause failures across hardware, firmware, and software, document findings, and fix product issues when appropriate.
• Integrate test runners with CI/CD and collaborate with device software, backend, audio, radio, and ML teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience testing software on hardware devices.
• Hands-on experience building HIL test benches for automated software testing.
• Proficiency in Python for test cases and test infrastructure with CI/CD.
• Experience designing test strategies and cases from product requirements.
• Testing experience with several of Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, Bluetooth, and GPS/GNSS.
• Experience testing multimedia devices and root-causing failures across hardware, firmware, and software.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics, motion control, signal simulation, or speech and audio testing.
• Experience with agentic test engineering and agent-native test architecture.
• Working knowledge of C, C++, or Java.
• Electrical engineering background.
• Experience testing consumer electronics, automotive, electric vehicle, or robotics products.
