Quality And Automation Engineer (AI)

Salary: $130,000–$240,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own quality and automation for large enterprise SaaS and PaaS deployments.
• Build agentic workflows for bug triage, reproduction, routing, and resolution.
• Keep environments consistent across deployments and prevent configuration drift.
• Run repeatable bug bashes and improve automated testing, CI signal, coverage, and test stability.
• Partner with customers to improve issue reporting, fix validation, and release readiness.
• Report severity-weighted quality trends, hotspots, and defect-prevention opportunities.

Requirements

• Production software engineering experience with the ability to write and ship code.
• Hands-on experience building test automation and CI quality gates.
• Real-world use of AI or agentic tooling.
• Experience working directly with customers or enterprise users on important issues.
• Comfort working across application code, CI, SaaS, PaaS, and deployment environments.
• Strong ownership, collaboration, and ability to operate in ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Python, TypeScript, React, Postgres, Hasura, GraphQL, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS and single-tenant or self-managed enterprise deployments.
• AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, agentic workflows, or LLM-based internal tooling.
• Performance and load testing experience.
• Experience with security, compliance, audit, accounting, financial services, or another regulated domain.
