Senior DotNET Solutions Architect

What you will do

• Lead application modernization, architecture, remediation, and integration initiatives for the Florida PALM System Transition and Comptroller Automation Platform.
• Design and document enterprise architectures using Microsoft .NET technologies and patterns such as modular monoliths, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Define architecture standards, reference architectures, technical roadmaps, architecture decision records, and design guidelines.
• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews while ensuring clean architecture, domain-driven design, SOLID principles, secure coding, and code quality standards.
• Support CI/CD, DevOps, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, production support, and application security improvements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, knowledge transfer, and collaboration with business analysts, product owners, and development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience across multiple IT disciplines and 2–3 years of solution or application architecture experience.
• Advanced expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, .NET 6+, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework, and enterprise-scale application architecture.
• Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, SQL Server, relational database design, SonarQube, and application security.
• Knowledge of Angular, React, Vue, microservices, service-oriented architecture, API integration patterns, scalability, reliability, logging, monitoring, and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP or financial systems, Florida PALM, FLAIR, government financial modernization, or public-sector organizations.
• Experience migrating COBOL, JCL, FOCUS, legacy mainframe applications, and enterprise interfaces.
• Experience with Azure Application Insights, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and Agile/Scrum.
