Application Architect, Platform (AI)

Location: Schiller Park, Illinois, United States. Work is performed primarily in an office environment, with possible irregular hours and on-call coverage including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $122,846.00–$159,700.00 per year.

What you will do

• Provide architectural guidance and lead technical projects across multiple systems and platforms.
• Design and implement products, features, integrations, application architectures, and logical data architectures.
• Research emerging technologies, modern frameworks, and AI solutions for new business workflows.
• Lead the development and adoption of AI-enabled solutions, including embedded AI agents and AI-powered tools for the sales force.
• Drive standardization, scalability, performance, security, and development best practices.
• Conduct requirements analysis, impact analysis, code and design reviews, and mentor application development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Application Development, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a development-related role and 6+ years of development experience with .NET Framework/Core, C#, and ASP.NET Web API.
• 6+ years of Power Platform development experience.
• Experience taking ownership of large application areas and independently delivering complex features with strong collaboration and leadership.
• Experience with agile or lean methodologies, continuous integration and delivery, Microsoft Visual Studio, mobile technologies, and front-end frameworks such as AngularJS, Angular, or React.
• Ability to lead technical strategies, collaborate with management and business analysts, and perform complex architecture and integration analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with integration technologies such as SSIS or MuleSoft.
• Experience with Microsoft CRM integrations.
