Retrofit Specialist (Maternity Leave Cover)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Hybrid working model combining onsite and offsite work.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end retrofit and mitigation solutions in line with program and customer targets for time, cost, and quality.
• Analyze and plan industrial lead times, capacity, supply-chain inputs, supplier requirements, and retrofit kits or complex retrofit solutions.
• Lead technical solution deployment and coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers, Supply Chain, and Program stakeholders.
• Monitor material, tooling, kits, and equipment delivery for individual projects through completion of each aircraft MSN.
• Manage a CAT 2 airline portfolio, build operator retrofit packages, and support aircraft groundings and C-checks involving major structural retrofits.
• Build trusted airline relationships and resolve industrial queries related to retrofits and hirify.global parts mitigation.

Requirements

• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships, manage expectations, explain issues clearly, and resolve problems.
• Overall aircraft knowledge or the ability to quickly develop technical insight.
• Program management skills, including coordinating multiple tasks, maintaining project consistency, and driving internal teams toward contractual, customer, cost, and revenue targets.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teams across different locations and support consistent ways of working.
• Advanced English, written and spoken, is required.
