Senior AI Product Manager

Location: Onsite at an HPE office; the stated position and salary range are in Texas, United States.

Salary: $120,500–$276,500 annual base salary in the United States, with the actual offer depending on geographic location, experience, education, training, and skills. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Define the vision, long-term strategy, roadmap, and build-versus-buy decisions for AI-driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and developers to guide model development, evaluate algorithms, and assess technical feasibility.
• Set training data requirements and model performance benchmarks while monitoring data quality, bias, and accuracy.
• Manage the product lifecycle from conceptualization and data acquisition through deployment, testing, and iteration based on user feedback.
• Define value propositions, target customer segments, business cases, and market requirements for innovative products.
• Align engineering, supply chain, marketing, and other value-chain partners to optimize product performance, margins, and go-to-market execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a related field.
• Technical understanding of the relevant industry and ability to provide product-specific technical training.
• Expertise in cross-functional leadership, influencing work through others, mentoring, and leading complex, ambiguous projects.
• Strong cost-efficient solution-building skills, financial performance analysis, business acumen, root cause analysis, and problem detection.
