Neurophysiologist Regional Traveler (Southeast)

Location: Georgia, with 100% travel throughout the Southeast Region of the United States, including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky.

What you will do

• Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgical procedures and monitor patients’ nervous systems.
• Review patient history and consult surgeons about structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
• Communicate monitoring information to surgeons and operating-room staff throughout each case.
• Display, label, measure, and calculate waveform data such as latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times.
• Apply monitoring protocols, troubleshoot data collection issues, and complete required documentation and IOM logs.
• Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and perform required maintenance checks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• CNIM certification and continued maintenance of CNIM status.
• Effective English communication with surgeons and surgical staff.
• Ability to manage changing schedules, competing demands, delays, and unexpected operating-room events.
• Ability to meet hospital privileges, physical, vaccination, and medical malpractice insurance requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 100%, transport and set up up to 50 pounds of equipment, and hold a valid driver’s license with transportation in the country of operation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, human anatomy and physiology, or technical troubleshooting.
• Operating-room experience.
