TL;DR
Business Unit Leader, Early Intervention (MedTech): Leading national sales, marketing, market access, and pricing strategies for an orthopedic early-stage non-surgical osteoarthritis treatment business with an accent on P&L ownership, business separation, and organizational leadership. Focus on building long-term commercial capabilities, optimizing direct and indirect sales organizations, and developing pricing, contracting, advocacy, and talent strategies.

Location: Hybrid role available in West Chester, Pennsylvania; Raynham, Massachusetts; or Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis with company approval. Up to 50% domestic travel is required.

Base pay: $178,000–$307,050 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead the national sales strategy and execution for the Early Intervention platform.
  • Develop the long-term strategic vision and build capabilities for the business following its separation from Johnson & Johnson.
  • Lead market access, pricing, contracting, payer, customer value proposition, advocacy, and policy strategies.
  • Manage and optimize direct and indirect sales organizations, including sales compensation and business planning.
  • Own P&L performance, budgets, revenue, profitability, cash flow, and corrective actions based on business metrics.
  • Develop, mentor, and engage the Early Intervention leadership team while building an inclusive organizational culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a Business, Marketing, or Finance degree and MBA are preferred.
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience, including at least five years of people leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing P&L performance, revenue, profitability, cash flow, and long-term growth.
  • Strong commercial, financial, communication, organizational, presentation, and business intelligence skills.
  • Proven ability to lead through change and operate within a large enterprise environment.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement at one of the listed US locations, with up to 50% domestic travel.

Nice to have

  • Pharmaceutical sales, marketing, and market access leadership experience.
  • Orthopedics experience.
  • Direct-to-patient and patient activation strategy experience.
