Neurophysiologist (Toledo, OH) (MedTech)

Location: Ohio, United States; field-based role with regular travel of up to 25%.

What you will do

• Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgical procedures and monitor the patient’s nervous system.
• Review medical histories and consult with surgeons about structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
• Communicate monitoring information to surgeons and surgical staff throughout each case.
• Display, label, measure, and calculate waveform data, including latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times.
• Select appropriate protocols, troubleshoot monitoring issues, and ensure accurate data collection.
• Complete IOM documentation, maintain equipment, and perform required maintenance checks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience, an advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Current CNIM certification and ability to maintain CNIM status.
• Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, human anatomy and physiology, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, time management, organizational, and collaboration skills; English communication with surgeons and surgical staff is required.
• Ability to maintain privileges at required hospitals and meet applicable physical and vaccination requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation capable of carrying medical equipment in the country of operation.
