Engineer Technician II

Location: Austin, TX; site in Burnet, Texas. Onsite night shift: 6 p.m.–6 a.m. on a 3-2-2-3 schedule after training and certification.

What you will do

• Run purification systems under defined quality and engineering controls.
• Perform equipment decontamination, chemical sampling, filling, packaging, and final-product inspection.
• Submit chemistry samples for laboratory analysis and maintain laboratory areas, supplies, equipment, and waste handling.
• Support on-time delivery of low-volume products from production through shipment.
• Work with engineers on experiments, system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a technical field such as chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of sublimation, decontamination, valve building, harvesting, filling, and processing solids.
• Experience with chemical handling, troubleshooting, communication, training, and following standard operating procedures.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001; ability to lift up to 50 lb and push up to 130 lb.
• Flexibility to respond to changing situations and manage multiple tasks while maintaining consistent attendance and performance.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of inventory management and SAP.
