Bond & Specialty Insurance Underwriting Professional Development Program (BSI UPDP Intern)

Location: Spokane Valley, Washington, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. now and in the future.

Salary: $25.00–$26.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Complete challenging and meaningful underwriting projects and core program assignments.
• Develop knowledge of insurance underwriting, sales, and marketing with support from a designated coach.
• Research and evaluate business and institutional risks for bond, specialty, and property casualty insurance.
• Use modern analytical and artificial intelligence tools while critically assessing the quality and accuracy of AI-assisted outputs.
• Participate in executive speaker sessions, networking events, and the Rising Senior Intern Symposium.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing or have obtained a bachelor's degree.
• Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Preferred academic background in business administration, economics, finance, liberal arts with a business focus, management, marketing, or risk management and insurance.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer now and in the future.
