Quality Lab Associate I (Chemistry)

Location: Cleveland, Mississippi, United States. Onsite role with off-shift and occasional weekend work. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Salary: $68,000–$85,000 annually

What you will do

• Perform quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses of intravenous solutions, sets, devices, raw materials, and plant water using wet chemistry and laboratory instrumentation.
• Collect, record, and peer-review test data using laboratory systems, software, and MS Office applications.
• Prepare and execute protocols, including special project and protocol testing.
• Investigate deviations and discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and write exception documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, cGMP, quality standards, and environmental health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles and escalate safety, quality, mechanical, or testing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in science, including chemistry, chemical engineering, physical chemistry, or biology with chemistry preferred.
• Coursework or equivalent laboratory experience in quantitative analysis.
• 0–3 years of experience.
• Computer proficiency, independence, organization, time management, and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work off shifts and some weekends.
• Must pass color-vision and annual near-vision acuity requirements.
