Digital Assets Compliance Manager

Location: Warsaw, Poland; at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: PLN 156,800–257,600, potentially including sales incentive payments; bonus and equity may also apply.

What you will do

• Advise on cryptocurrency, stablecoin, and blockchain-based products across concept, launch, scaling, and ongoing management.
• Assess products and business models, translating regulatory requirements and financial crime risks into practical controls, governance, and risk appetite recommendations.
• Develop and strengthen the digital asset and stablecoin compliance framework, including policies, risk assessments, and control standards.
• Advise on blockchain analytics, wallet and sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, investigations, record keeping, and Travel Rule requirements.
• Oversee and test critical digital asset controls operated by third parties, report weaknesses and emerging risks, and drive remediation.
• Prepare senior management and board reporting, support regulatory engagement and licensing, and deliver compliance guidance and training.

Requirements

• Experience in financial crime or compliance within payments, fintech, banking, or digital assets.
• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency, stablecoins, blockchain payments, and related regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in sanctions, transaction monitoring, blockchain analytics, due diligence, and Travel Rule obligations.
• Experience assessing new products, managing risk, and overseeing third-party controls.
• Ability to influence Product, Technology, and Commercial stakeholders while providing independent challenge.
• Understanding of UK and international digital asset regulations, senior-level reporting, and practical use of GenAI tools.

Nice to have

• ICA, ACAMS, or a similar professional qualification.
• Crypto, blockchain, or digital asset certifications.
