Engineer (Manufacturing Controls)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for manufacturing operations by troubleshooting PLCs, vision systems, robots, servers, and HMIs.
• Make or lead small code and program modifications for assigned industrial control systems.
• Plan and execute change-control projects, equipment qualifications, and vendor and site acceptance testing.
• Participate in machine, manufacturing, and product design reviews.
• Train and support operations engineers and technicians in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Resolve corrective and preventive actions related to quality, technical, audit, NCR, CAPA, and manufacturing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to write simple code modifications for industrial control systems with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in an empowered team environment.
• Experience or familiarity with industrial controls, manufacturing operations, and technical project execution.

Nice to have

• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, AB Studio 5000, Power BI, or Ignition.
• Knowledge of Ladder Logic, Python, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram.
• Experience with motion devices, servos, robotic arms, and industrial machine-vision systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and work with vendors on component selection and procurement.
• Experience in ISO- and FDA-regulated environments.
