What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs using ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams.
• Configure and integrate PLC hardware, I/O modules, and industrial communication interfaces.
• Design HMI screens and operator interfaces for monitoring and controlling automated systems.
• Test PLC programs for functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues in PLC-based control systems.
• Document programs, wiring diagrams, and system configurations, and provide technical support and training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, automation, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a PLC Programmer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with PLCs from leading manufacturers such as Allen-Bradley.
• Strong understanding of ladder logic, structured text, function block diagrams, PLC hardware configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and safety standards for industrial automation systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HMI software such as Wonderware or FactoryTalk.
• Experience with SCADA systems.
