Bioprocess Engineer in Cell Banking (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Manage operational activities for assigned clinical and commercial manufacturing projects in the mammalian Cell Banking area.
• Prepare master and working cell banks across the process from cell culture through filling, including viability studies and post-production cell banks.
• Act as a subject matter expert and functional lead for manufacturing execution, cleaning, and changeover activities.
• Lead defined USP areas such as seed train, main cultivation, or harvest for therapeutic protein production.
• Lead defined DSP areas such as capture, polishing, or filling for purification of therapeutic proteins.
• Ensure manufacturing activities are completed on time and meet safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science subject; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with pharmaceutical production experience.
• A few years of experience in biomanufacturing.
• Knowledge of USP units such as bioreactors or DSP units such as chromatography.
• GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
