Product Designer (Gaming)

Location: New York City, NY; on-site five days per week

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design consumer-facing experiences for gaming culture and creator-driven communities across desktop and mobile.
• Own product areas end to end, from core player flows to polished, accessible interfaces.
• Build, scale, and maintain the product design system and living component libraries.
• Work closely with engineers to translate design system components accurately into production.
• Ship iteratively, measure outcomes, and improve experiences through repeated product cycles.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, ideally for social or creator-driven platforms.
• Strong product judgment and holistic understanding of user journeys, core loops, and retention moments.
• Hands-on design systems experience, including tokens, components, documentation, and library maintenance.
• Deep Figma expertise with component architecture, variables, and auto layout.
• Experience designing for desktop and mobile, with knowledge of platform-specific UX patterns and accessibility.
• Passion for games and gaming communities; willingness to work in the NYC office five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for communities, content creation, or real-time interaction products such as Discord, Twitch, or TikTok.
