Med Tech (Certified)

Location: 49 Lasatta Ave, Englishtown, NJ 07726, USA; onsite resident-care position.

Salary: $23 per hour, up to $23 hourly.

What you will do

• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications under RN or LPN supervision.
• Provide resident care according to individual care plans and physician orders.
• Maintain accurate medical records and written documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical condition, cognition, and emotional status.
• Protect residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services.
• Complete annual medication training and periodic competency testing.

Requirements

• Active CNA and/or HHA New Jersey license required.
• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and competency testing.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long-term care.
• High school diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow HIPAA policies and state medication-administration regulations.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays and lift or support residents weighing up to 50 pounds.
