Field Examiner Senior - Business Credit (Financial Services)

Location: Based remotely in Dallas, Texas, with regular field work at borrower locations, overnight travel, and occasional in-office participation. Remote work is available only in select geographic locations and requires approval, with a quiet, secure, confidential home workspace.

What you will do

• Lead complex field examinations of existing borrowers and support examinations led by other examiners.
• Analyze collateral records, financial reports, accounting controls, data integrity, and managerial oversight to assess collateral values and identify deterioration or weaknesses.
• Verify borrowing base certificates and collateral reporting against loan approval terms and conditions.
• Prepare detailed examination reports and supporting workpapers with findings, material variances, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Communicate significant findings and concerns to relationship managers, credit teams, portfolio management, and borrower representatives.
• Manage examination due diligence, direct fieldwork, and train and evaluate junior or new field examiners.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of ABL field examination experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of corporate accounting through education or professional experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience.
• Knowledge of collateral management, financial statement analysis, GAAP, data gathering, reporting, and risk management.
• Regular overnight travel and recurring onsite field assignments are required.
