Internal Auditor - Business Operations

Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid work arrangement with up to 10% domestic and international travel

What you will do

• Develop audit engagement scopes for audits of limited to moderate complexity.
• Build risk and control matrices and audit testing procedures based on business risks.
• Execute audits across finance, business processes, software systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze process walkthroughs and evaluate whether controls mitigate identified risks.
• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley testing using established templates.
• Prepare concise reports covering observations, root causes, business risks, and recommendations, and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, information technology, finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in engineering, digital technology, sourcing, procurement, or operations.
• Basic Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and graphs.
• Ability to interpret policies and process documentation, assess compliance, identify risks, and apply basic data analytics.
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and learn relevant audit software.
• Basic understanding of project management concepts and techniques.

Nice to have

• CPA or CIA certification.
