Store Construction Project Manager

Location: Petit-Lancy, Geneva, Switzerland; hybrid work with 2 days per week from home. Europe-wide scope with regular travel to construction sites across Europe. In-person interview and case study at the Geneva headquarters.

Expected pay: CHF105,120–CHF147,240 gross for full-time employment.

What you will do

• Lead retail construction, store opening, and refit projects from initial data collection through final handover.
• Manage approximately 35 projects per year across multiple European countries and coordinate several projects in parallel.
• Work with architects to design retail spaces, adjust technical plans in AutoCAD, and ensure compliance with Columbia standards.
• Request, validate, and negotiate supplier quotations while tracking project budgets and construction costs.
• Monitor construction sites, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and protect opening deadlines.
• Improve project processes and workload management across the Store Construction team.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing construction projects, store openings, or store refits across multiple countries.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to brand standards.
• Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory.
• Very good command of AutoCAD for reading and accurately adjusting technical plans.
• Experience with cost tracking, budget analysis in Excel, and collaborative tools such as SharePoint and Smartsheet.
• Ability to understand and review technical information in construction and fit-out contracts, with willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
