Assistant Engineer (CMP)

Location: Zhunan, Taiwan; onsite role with three-shift work, overtime, and rest-day adjustments

What you will do

• Conduct CMP polishing experiments and prepare slurries in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Work with applications, metrology, and process engineering functions to support experiments and technical activities.
• Produce valid, accurate polishing results and respond promptly to quality-related situations.
• Support urgent polishing demonstrations for customer and internal requests.
• Follow chemical handling, equipment operation, hazard monitoring, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support quality goals, employee certification, problem solving, and tool troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science is preferred.
• Experience with CMP polishers and related metrology operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of CMP slurry, chemical handling, and mixing procedures is preferred.
• Strong English writing and conversational skills are required for regular communication.
• Careful, disciplined, diligent, adaptable, and able to learn new skills quickly.
• Willingness to work three shifts, overtime, adjusted rest days, and travel within Asia and the United States when required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of experiment design and JMP data analysis.
