Infrastructure Engineer

Location: New York City, NY; on-site at the NYC headquarters

Salary: $180K–$275K per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Operate and scale infrastructure supporting billions of gaming clips, video ingestion pipelines, and social features.
• Own the on-call rotation and lead incident response for high-severity production issues.
• Drive postmortems and implement durable fixes that prevent recurring incidents.
• Scale and maintain databases, search infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and cloud services.
• Partner directly with engineering teams to meet infrastructure needs during rapid growth.

Requirements

• Strong experience owning infrastructure-as-code at scale with Terraform.
• Hands-on experience running Elasticsearch for user-facing features.
• Deep GCP experience with Kubernetes, VPC, IAM, Cloud Logging, and managed services.
• Production experience scaling and sharding MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience handling P0 incidents, communicating clearly under pressure, and leading actionable postmortems.
• Production experience with GitHub Actions and comfort working in rapidly growing startups.

Nice to have

• Experience with the broader stack including Redis, RabbitMQ, Salt, CircleCI, Java, or modern web and native application technologies.
