Senior Counsel, Go to Market (AI)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days per week

Base salary: $202,350–$398,240 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Advise senior management, including the General Counsel, on product launches, corporate structures, regulatory matters, and litigation-related issues.
• Provide day-to-day legal support to technology, product, monetization, sales, e-commerce, and emerging business teams.
• Draft and review terms, disclosures, agreements, policies, guidelines, and go-to-market materials.
• Identify legal risks, assess business impact, and develop solution-oriented mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Public Policy, Communications, and other global cross-functional teams on business matters.
• Build scalable legal infrastructure and lead executive-level escalations.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active U.S. state bar membership in good standing.
• 15+ years of legal experience, preferably in early-stage startups and fast-paced environments.
• Generalist expertise in AI and emerging technologies, product counseling, commercial contracts, corporate governance, employment law basics, intellectual property, and vendor risk management.
• Ability to operate independently, prioritize competing demands, and build repeatable legal processes.
• Excellent communication, judgment, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work fully in person in Los Angeles up to five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience handling national security matters with U.S. government agencies such as DOJ, DoD, or CFIUS.
• Experience in a premier national security or defense practice group.
