Lead, Program Management (Aerospace)

Location: Greenville, Texas, United States; onsite. The role requires travel, overtime, and extended hours to support aggressive schedules. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

What you will do

• Lead large, complex, high-visibility aerospace and defense programs from planning through delivery.
• Own cost, schedule, technical performance, risk management, financial oversight, and business operations.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, technical, administrative, and subcontractor teams supporting aircraft depot and maintenance programs.
• Plan and execute aircraft requirements, modification installation, integration, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Act as the primary customer interface and lead program reviews with customers, senior management, and functional groups.
• Manage proposals, bids, contract changes, specifications, schedules, and deliverables while driving revenue, operating income, and cash-flow objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of relevant project or program management experience, or a graduate degree and 7 years of related experience; 15 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, engineering, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, management personnel, customers, senior management, and functional groups.
• Experience managing multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment focused on problem resolution and process improvement.
• Strong Excel, reporting, financial data analysis, communication, and organizational skills.
• Minimum Secret DoD security clearance required; Top Secret-TSCI preferred. Clearance eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP financial reporting and material processes, Earned Value Management, bidding and forecasting tools, and Integrated Master Schedules.
• Experience with commercial or military aviation and aerospace product development, production, aircraft integration, or aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, create execution plans, brief high-level customers, and identify performance trends.
• Experience with continuous improvement, compliance processes, maintenance and service bulletins, and Microsoft Office tools.
