Program Manager (Defense)

Location: Onsite in Orlando, Florida, United States

Salary: $95,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of complex, multi-million-dollar defense programs.
• Manage technical specifications, budgets, delivery schedules, contract compliance, and formal contract changes.
• Implement Earned Value Management Systems to track costs, variances, forecasts, and margins.
• Lead cross-functional Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams without direct authority.
• Identify and mitigate technical, supply chain, and schedule risks.
• Support new-business proposals by preparing technical volumes and defining Bases of Estimate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of program management experience; defense, aerospace, or federal contracting experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Stage-Gate processes, Systems Engineering lifecycles, or defense-standard project management tools such as MS Project.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills for working with military and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance is required.
• The position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information and onsite work in Orlando.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or Defense Acquisition University Level II/III certification in Program Management.
