Operations & Manufacturing Co-Op (Spring 2027)

Location: Fairport, NY, United States; full-time onsite co-op, 40 hours per week for six months beginning in Spring 2027.

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Assist with project management across operations and manufacturing.
• Support process development that improves efficiency, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
• Analyze operational and production data to identify trends and support decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and production teams on cross-functional projects.
• Participate in Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Evaluate workflows, address manufacturing challenges, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Expected graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Interest in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, process improvement, or project management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Experience with or interest in data analysis and familiarity with Microsoft Excel or other analytical tools.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Analytics, or process improvement methodologies.
• Leadership demonstrated through internships, research, student organizations, design teams, athletics, or other extracurricular activities.
