AI-Native Development Platform Engineer Intern, MS - Summer 2027

What you will do

• Build and ship an end-to-end feature for an agentic AI platform supporting the software development lifecycle.
• Develop MCP-based integrations and tooling connecting AI agents with Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence, and AWS.
• Automate build, testing, and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
• Write, review, deploy, and support production-quality software alongside senior engineers.
• Measure adoption, performance, and engineering time savings, then present technical outcomes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and IT partners to define requirements and pilot features with users.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, C#, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript, with the ability to write and debug production-quality code.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Git-based version control, branching, pull requests, and code review workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and containerization with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Hands-on exposure to LLM or agentic AI development, including prompt design, model APIs or SDKs, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI-assisted coding tools.
• Applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information under applicable U.S. regulations; an export license review may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience building REST APIs or integrations with Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP and deployment tools such as Helm, Argo CD, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with MCP, LangGraph, multi-agent workflows, relational databases, or React.
