Negotiation Support Engineer (Gas Turbine Systems)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States. The role includes 15% domestic and 10% international travel.

What you will do

• Provide technical input for active proposals and negotiations by defining scope and identifying risks.
• Run detailed performance models to assess the impact of potential upgrades on large gas turbine units.
• Evaluate large gas turbine performance to identify optimization and improvement opportunities.
• Execute performance testing and coordinate technical scope across multiple organizations.
• Analyze gas turbine systems and performance data to identify trends and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 2 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience.
• Experience or coursework in large gas turbine thermal performance evaluations, thermodynamic principles, and heat balance analysis.
• Fundamental understanding of thermodynamics, aerodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Experience analyzing complex gas turbine systems and data, including Excel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
