Network Engineer - Senior Consultant

What you will do

• Provide second- and third-level support for data center network environments.
• Manage and administer data center network infrastructure.
• Analyze, classify, and resolve network incidents.
• Optimize network architectures for secure and highly available operations.
• Act as a technical contact for internal departments and national and international customers.
• Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of technical projects after onboarding.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a related field, or completed vocational training in IT.
• Professional experience in network administration.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point, and/or Juniper networking solutions.
• Strong knowledge of switching, routing including OSPF, BGP, and VRF, and VPN technologies.
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to participate in shift work, with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Vendor certification in at least one of the relevant networking technologies.
