Network Administrator

Location: Onsite in Tennessee or Idaho, United States

Healthcare services organization supporting home health, hospice, senior living, and home care operations across 19 states through centralized infrastructure and support services.

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPNs, internet circuits, and related network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, outage, and wireless incidents across LAN, WAN, VPN, and multi-site environments.
• Configure and deploy network equipment for site openings, replacements, upgrades, and lifecycle initiatives.
• Coordinate with internet service providers, telecommunications carriers, vendors, field technicians, and internal technical teams.
• Support network monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, alert tuning, and reliability improvements.
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, runbooks, procedures, asset inventories, and knowledge articles.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in IT infrastructure, network support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN technologies, firewalls, and wireless networking.
• Experience troubleshooting connectivity across LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless environments.
• Familiarity with switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, and access points.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Tennessee or Idaho and collaborate with technical and nontechnical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Ruckus Wireless, Ruckus ICX, Cisco switching, Aruba wireless, or SD-WAN.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure networking concepts and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, Auvik, PRTG, or similar monitoring platforms.
• Basic scripting or automation experience with PowerShell, Python, or APIs.
• CompTIA Network+, CCNA, PCNSA, Azure Fundamentals, or related certifications.
