Bilingual Physician (Spanish/English) - Virtual Health Assessment Team

Location: Remote work from a home office; must reside in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Salary: $216,406–$284,032 per year, plus annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Provide medical care virtually by phone, video, and messaging in accordance with clinical guidelines and policies.
• Directly oversee and supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants in compliance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with medical assistants, registered nurses, and providers across service lines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Fluency in Spanish, verified through a proctored assessment.
• At least 3 years of experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.
• Active licensure in at least two core Oscar states, including a Tennessee license and either a Texas or Florida license.
• Active IMLCC membership or eligibility to apply, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses with company assistance.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of telemedicine experience.
• Licenses in Missouri, Alabama, or Mississippi.
• Regulatory supervision experience with nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
