Summer 2027: MBA Finance Strategy Intern

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; hybrid work at an hirify.global office location determined by the team and role

Base pay: $37–$54 per hour

What you will do

• Develop growth strategies for new offerings, customer segments, geographic markets, and business models.
• Identify and evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities, competitive threats, and disruption risks.
• Optimize investment allocation across short- and long-term growth objectives.
• Build one-year and three-year strategic and financial plans.
• Partner with product, business, and country or segment leaders to test and operationalize strategies.
• Communicate strategy and business trajectories to senior leaders, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of prior work experience; consulting, investment banking, BizOps, or go-to-market strategy experience is preferred.
• Must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
• Familiarity with AI tools and curiosity about applying AI to real-world problems.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States for the entire internship.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and business judgment skills, with the ability to work independently and present recommendations to executives.

Nice to have

• Prior consulting, investment banking, BizOps, or go-to-market strategy experience.
