What you will do

  • Design and release electrical systems for semiconductor capital equipment, including power distribution units, logic control panels, cable assemblies, and subsystem interfaces.
  • Develop electrical architectures integrating precision motion systems, automation controls, imaging equipment, vacuum subsystems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Perform power analysis, load calculations, circuit sizing, breaker coordination, grounding design, and fault-protection studies.
  • Ensure compliance with SEMI S2/S22, NFPA 79, UL 508A, CE, and other applicable standards and regulations.
  • Author schematics, cable and harness designs, bills of materials, engineering specifications, design reviews, and test procedures.
  • Lead risk assessments, component qualification, factory acceptance activities, and root-cause resolution for manufacturing, integration, and field-installation issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience, master’s degree with 3 years of related experience, or doctorate with no related experience.
  • Understanding of single-phase and three-phase power, control and safety circuits, and performance-level analysis.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Zuken E3, or comparable schematic drafting tools.
  • Understanding of PLC systems such as Beckhoff or Allen Bradley.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical subsystems hands-on and solve technical problems independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for work-related activities.
