Electrical Quality Specialist (Engineer) (Power Distribution)

Salary: $58,500–$93,600 annually

What you will do

• Resolve customer complaints involving Power Distribution Units, Static Transfer Switches, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
• Analyze defective products, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed 8D and analysis reports.
• Work with field service teams and process quality engineers to implement containment and corrective actions.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support, investigate product performance, and collect feedback.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects focused on product quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure electrical safety and uphold hirify.global’s standards of integrity and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related discipline, plus at least two years of experience in manufacturing or quality control.
• Hands-on experience with transformers, PDUs, STSs, and UPS products.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical equipment and PCBA schematics.
• Experience using power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution and control systems, testing, troubleshooting, evaluation, and servicing.
• Already-authorized-to-work status in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, PPS, and other process improvement methods.
• Knowledge of UL1561, NEMA ST-20, IEEE C57.12.01, IEEE C57.12.91, DOE 2016, UL891, and CSA C22.2 standards.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI.
