Manager, Supply Chain Planning

Location: Guangzhou, China; hybrid work with adaptable hours.

What you will do

• Translate regional demand streams into executable supply plans and maintain appropriate inventory positions.
• Oversee purchasing, material control, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and stores functions.
• Develop and maintain material control policies, procedures, schedules, and systems.
• Coordinate material movement with purchasing, production, and engineering while ensuring product availability.
• Review consensus demand, implement safety-stock and MRP requirements, and manage delivery, freight, inventory quality, and supply chain cost metrics.
• Set operational goals, drive root-cause analysis and process improvements, and lead the training and development of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years as a team lead or supervisor.
• Experience in business operations, customer support, or demand and supply planning.
• Strong attention to detail, process adherence, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Fluent English, written and verbal; local language skills may be applicable.
• Advanced knowledge of the supported region or product lines and strong working knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Excel.
