Material Planner (Electrification)

Location: Onsite in Xiamen, Fujian, China

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end inventory planning, including replenishment from purchase requisition through customer invoicing.
• Define inventory policies and maintain safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment parameters in ERP and planning systems.
• Coordinate material call-offs and ensure purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders with buyers and operations teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers and buyers to improve on-time delivery, minimum order quantities, quality, lead times, and flexibility.
• Identify long-lead materials, material shortages, project changes, and supply risks, then coordinate mitigation measures.
• Develop supplier agreements and risk controls, including backup suppliers, reserved capacity, stockholding, and material alternatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in material planning, purchasing, sourcing, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Experience with material management modules in ERP systems.
• Knowledge of the supply market and lead times for at least one electrical equipment material category, such as protection equipment, current transformers, insulation parts, sheet metal, copper bars, or copper tubes.
• Strong data analysis, logical thinking, communication, and coordination skills.
• Business English communication skills required.
