Product Designer, International (Fintech)

Location: Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Base pay: $140,000–$165,000 USD in Zone 1; $123,000–$145,000 USD in Zone 2; $110,000–$129,000 USD in Zone 3, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design onboarding, trading, crypto, and money movement features for international markets.
• Partner with product, engineering, legal, and compliance teams on market-specific requirements.
• Simplify cross-border and multi-currency concepts into clear, localized interfaces.
• Use AI to explore ideas, identify edge cases, and prototype quickly while maintaining design quality.
• Set product direction and move projects forward in markets with limited precedent.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex consumer products.
• Regular use of AI as part of the design process.
• Interest in global markets and cross-border financial products.
• Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, and cross-functional partners in regulated environments.
• Strong systems thinking, with the ability to balance product consistency and local market needs.
• Ability to act independently and make progress through ambiguity.
