Special Fleet Operations Driver

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; on-site. The role includes driving between sites, vendors, and carrier terminals across Colorado, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, as well as outdoor work at active construction and data center sites.

Salary: $31–$34 per hour plus bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.

What you will do

• Operate non-CDL commercial motor vehicles under 26,000 lb GVWR and complete local pickups and deliveries.
• Manage load boards, verify shipments against bills of lading, capture proof of delivery, and report exceptions.
• Perform pre-trip inspections, DVIRs, cargo securement, hours-of-service tracking, and incident reporting under federal DOT regulations.
• Load and unload vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and liftgates while handling high-value data center equipment.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, registrations, insurance documentation, preventive maintenance schedules, fuel records, and unit cost reports.
• Support warehouse receiving, inspection, labeling, staging, cycle counts, and ERP updates in Acumatica.

Requirements

• 3+ years operating non-CDL commercial motor vehicles weighing 10,001–26,000 lb GVWR, including 24- to 26-foot box or straight trucks.
• 2+ years of fleet operations, logistics, or maintenance coordination experience with knowledge of driver qualification, DVIRs, hours-of-service, cargo securement, and accident reporting.
• At least 1 year leading people or owning a process end to end, including training and documenting procedures.
• Forklift experience and the ability to load and unload independently; hirify.global training and evaluation are required before operating powered industrial trucks.
• Valid driver's license, clean 3-year MVR, minimum age of 21, and ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical examiner's certificate.
• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, pre-employment drug screening, DOT physical, and hirify.global road test; drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must lift 50 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, and work outdoors in Colorado weather.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining driver qualification files, DVIRs, and short-haul time records in a DOT-regulated fleet.
• Experience establishing a fleet or compliance program and writing standard operating procedures.
• Experience with fleet telematics, dash cameras, Geotab, Acumatica, or similar ERP systems.
• Forklift operator card, OSHA 10, or Class A/B CDL.
