Lead, Cost and Rates Planning

Location: Sacramento, California (preferred), Canoga Park, California, or Huntsville, Alabama. Onsite role with a 9/80 schedule: nine working days every fourteen days and every other Friday off.

Salary: $105,000–$196,500 annually for the California locations. Final compensation may vary based on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Prepare, monitor, and forecast operating overhead budgets for assigned Centers of Excellence.
• Analyze monthly performance, forecasts, variances, and key financial drivers for management.
• Support cost studies, rate and profit improvement opportunities, and what-if financial exercises.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve detailed financial models.
• Support month-end accounting close, accruals, prepaid activity, audits, and SOX requirements.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to ad hoc reporting and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a graduate degree with at least 7 years of related experience, or 13 years of related experience without a degree.
• Strong communication, analytical, and technical accounting skills.
• Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and variance explanations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using Excel as a daily tool.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

• Experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion Planning.
