Distribution Center Team Lead

Location: Carrollton, Texas, United States; on-site. Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Lead, train, and coordinate a small distribution center team.
• Coordinate delivery scheduling and inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
• Oversee department operations in the absence of the Distribution Center Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor.
• Ensure safe material-handling equipment operation, distribution center security, and accurate inventory.
• Verify that shipments and products are accurate and undamaged.
• Address safety concerns and ensure assigned work is completed correctly and efficiently.

Requirements

• 4+ years of distribution center or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lead, train, communicate effectively, organize work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to resolve complex issues and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse and material-handling equipment and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, crouching, and working around noise, heat, cold, electrical hazards, and potentially dangerous equipment.
• High school diploma or GED and certification to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment are preferred.
