Engineering Technician IV - TS/SCI Clearance

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; onsite work supporting facilities around Colorado Springs

Salary: $36–$45 per hour

What you will do

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document ICT, structured cabling, network infrastructure, and C4ISR systems.
• Install and certify Category 6/6A copper and single-mode or multimode fiber-optic cabling.
• Perform fiber preparation, fusion and mechanical splicing, OTDR analysis, optical-loss testing, and corrective actions.
• Install pathways, racks, cabinets, telecommunications infrastructure, and network equipment, including rack-and-stack activities.
• Support PITCO, performance and acceptance testing, quality verification, Government acceptance, and project closeout.
• Coordinate with technicians, engineers, QA/QC, logistics, project management, and other functional teams while documenting redlines and field changes.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Top Secret/SCI level are required.
• Associate degree, technical certification, or at least five years of related cabling, equipment, and IT network installation experience.
• At least five years of troubleshooting and repairing systems.
• At least five years of experience using Microsoft Office and other AV software programs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in factory, machine-shop, construction, indoor/outdoor, secure, and classified environments while following safety, PPE, quality, and physical-security requirements.
